Alocasia Cucullata, aka Hooded Dwarf Elephant Ear, Buddha’s Palm or Buddha’s Hand, has earned its unique name because of its large, heart-shaped leaves attached to tall slender stems that, when the slightest breeze hits them, appear to be waving. The glossy, green foliage is subtly embossed with deep veins of green, making a simple, yet striking, statement. Alocasia are toxic to both people and animals, so they are not to be ingested.
