Alocasia Mandalay, formerly known as Alocasia Parasol, is a striking, compact variety of Alocasia × amazonica selected for its intense contrast and refined shape. Discovered as a natural mutation of Alocasia Polly by Ned & Kim Bradford and patented in 2015, Mandalay features dramatic dark green leaves marked by bold, bright white veins that almost glow against the foliage. The arrowhead-shaped leaves and upright habit give it a sculptural, architectural presence, making it an elegant focal point for indoor jungles, tabletops, or shelves with filtered light.
