Begonia Soli-Mutata, also known as the Sun-Changing Begonia, is an award-winning, evergreen, creeping, rhizomatous perennial that is primarily grown for its stunning foliage. The heart-shaped, dark green leaves are adorned with lime-green radiating veins and scarlet edges, and they have an uneven upper surface, covered with tiny hair and raised lumps, resembling goosebumps. The name "Soli-Mutata" translates to "Sun-Changing," reflecting its leaves' ability to change colour with varying light intensity—more light results in darker leaves. This begonia also produces clusters of white flowers, adding to its visual appeal. Native to Brazil, it is perfect for pots and containers and makes a wonderful houseplant.
