Cardboard Palm, aka Zamia Furfuracea, is one of those ancient plants with a lot of character that can grow inside or outside (during the warmer months). It is actually a cycad instead of a palm, but its fronds resemble palms. It has cardboard-like leaves and a thick, tuberous trunk that allows it to store water for long periods of time.
