Cryptanthus ‘Absolute Zero’, also known as Absolute Zero earth star, has nearly-black leaves with white stripes. The leaves measure about an inch wide and form a tight “rosette” at their core. It is one of the most striking varieties of the bromeliad family. ‘Absolute Zero’ is a low growing plant, usually only reaching 3-4” tall, but up to 10” wide. It makes a showy plant for your home, patio, deck or rock garden.
