Ctenanthe Lubbersiana, aka Never-Never Plant or Bamburanta, is a tropical, evergreen perennial with bamboo-like stems that branch out rather than up. The oblong, veined leaves are primarily green and streaked with cream and gold. Ctenanthe, along with their close relatives Calatheas and Marantas, are commonly called "Prayer Plants" because of their habit of opening and closing its leaves as day transitions to night.
