Epipremnum Shangri La, scientifically known as Epipremnum aureum ‘Shangri La’, aka Sleeping Pothos or Spinach Pothos, is a rare cultivar of Epipremnum Aureum bred from the Epipremnum Champs Élysées, named after James Hilton’s fictional Shangri La valley. It has dark green, oval-shaped leaves that remain curled up with specks and splatters of gold or cream-coloured variegation and can spread or vine up to 3 feet in ideal growing conditions. Similar to their cousins from the Pothos family, they are the perfect houseplant for beginners, being one of the easiest you can grow with a beautiful tropical vibe.
