Huernia Schneideriana, calso known as the Red Dragon or Red Dragon Flower, is a distinctive succulent recognized for its spiky appearance. Native to Eastern and Southern Africa, this plant is named in homage to a Dutch missionary, Justin Heurnius, albeit with a slight misspelling. The plant's stems, which can grow up to 8 to 12 inches tall, are adorned with thorn-like structures that are surprisingly soft to touch. These stems often grow upright but may droop as the plant matures, making it a potential hanging plant. The 'Red Dragon Flower' is particularly known for its vibrant red flowers that bloom at the base of its stem during spring and summer.
