Peperomia Schumi Red, aka Peperomia caperata 'Schumi Red' or Peperomia Red Ripple, is a species of flowering plant in the family Piperaceae, native to Brazil. This variety has deeply ridged, heart-shaped leaves coming in an eye-catching deep red, and narrow spikes of white flowers. Like other Peperomias, it is non-toxic, making it safe to keep around your furry friends.
